Security Supervisor w/ Armed Registration -  Richmond, VA metro areas

Our "Protective Services Division" is seeking candidates with previous experience in security or related law enforcement fields. We are looking for customer friendly people, who pay attention to detail and have good social skills! Although preferred, security experience is not necessary to work these positions.

*Must be able to cover evening and weekend shifts;

*Candidates MUST be able to obtain a valid Virginia DCJS Armed Registration;

*Candidates must be able to manage provide OJT, Call-outs and scheduling of employees;

*Clean driving record - must be able to conduct vehicular and foot patrols; 

You must also be in good physical and mental condition. We encourage retired law enforcement and military personnel to apply!

• You may be required to verify identification, vehicle registrations, ID cards, etc.

Qualifications

• Some college preferred, High School Diploma or GED required
• 3+ years experience in security preferred, but not required
• Experience with people - customer service
• Effective written and verbal communication - must speak fluent English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• US Citizen or Green Card holder
• Must have very clean VA DMV Driving Record and a valid VA Drivers License
• May be required to take a Medical Physical and a Physical Fitness Test
• Required to take an on-site written exam and oral interview
• May be required to take a pre-employment drug screen
• Current Armed DCJS Registration preferred
